Local carer solutions are necessary for assisted living scenarios that do not require a fully monitored alarm service. A monitored alarm service may not be required by those who have the benefit of a local, on-site network of care. However even in these scenarios, service users should be assured that they can call for help if they should need it.
For these occasions, Tynetec have designed a local care receiver unit that can be connected to a variety of telecare sensors. When a telecare device is activated within the assigned perimeter, a notification is sent through to a local responder such as an on-site carer, family member or friend.
