Digitally enabled systems designed to support people to live independently in a grouped accommodation setting
For many years, traditional grouped living systems have operated over analogue networks for offsite communication. But with the analogue to digital transition well underway in the telecommunications sector, it’s vitally important that housing providers can react effectively to these changes and continue to offer the security and peace of mind that their residents expect and rely on.
Our digitally enabled Advent XT grouped living systems are designed to support people to live independently in a supported housing environment that not only enables people to remain independent in their present situation but provides future proofed, flexible options that can be tailored to incorporate additional functionality should an individual’s needs change. Our Digital Advent XT systems can operate on their own or be configured to offer combined door entry systems for a more cost effective and integrated solution.

Let's collaborate
At Legrand we understand the need to keep projects moving even if it is not possible to have a face to face meeting.
That's why our Tynetec account managers are on hand to provide online support and assistance by collaborating online in real-time. We can mark up drawings and schematics, create new symbols for specific products, add logos and make amendments to existing plans.
As the UK number one supplier to the Assisted Living & Healthcare sector we can also provide virtual site surveys and supply online quotes and sign off for your nurse call, intercoms, pull cords, door entry system, as well as designs for assisted living and the connected home saving you time and adhering to current government guidelines.

The Advent XT2 is a grouped living alarm and communication system that consists of a resident intercom that links directly to an onsite scheme manager’s handset or to an offsite alarm receiving centre (ARC).
For those customers who require a building wide door entry system, the Advent XT2 can be configured as a combined alarm and door entry system, reducing the need for two separate systems and therefore reducing infrastructure costs.

A modern design of speech module that delivers a simple, clear and concise user interface providing both door entry and assisted living functionality.
In addition to providing a means of simple and effective communication between a resident and onsite or offsite responder, the combined intercom allows a resident to control door entry functions without the need for a separate system or handset.
A standard speech unit and separate telephone handset option could be deployed in place of the combined speech module if preferred.

Protecting current and future investments by digitally enabling your grouped living solutions for use with next generation digital networks.
The Digital Communicator is designed to retro fit onto existing Advent xt installations and provides a digitally enabled communication channel directly to the alarm receiving centre (ARC).
Unlike an analogue terminal adapter (ATA), the digital communicator is a truly native digital device that utilises the NOW-IP alarm transmission protocol.

The Advent xt is the market leading grouped alarm and communication system.
The intercom allows residents to speak to an on-site manager or call through to an off-site alarm receiving centre. Designed with its environment in mind, the intercom is modern in style with simple functional buttons. It offers exceptional speech quality so that the resident and manager can communicate clearly at all times.
A manager’s handset can be used to carry out the majority of the day-to-day functions.
A digital communicator enables the system to operate on both analogue and digital IP communication infrastructures.

The Advent xt system can be expanded by adding a fully integrated door entry facility with dual speech paths to ensure that the door entry operation does not interrupt alarm handling. The addition of the door entry system enables the combined installation costs to be kept to a minimum.
The system can be supplied as part of a combined intercom system or by utilising separate door entry handsets.

A flexible, vandal resistant door entry system that enables functional and digital combinations of panels to be integrated into a single installation.
The Entel Ultra system has been designed to work with the majority of 4 or 5 wire traditional tone-type telephones on the market. This means that upgrading an existing system couldn’t be simpler, easier or more cost effective.
