Legrand Electric Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 in line with the UK Government’s PPN 006 Carbon Reduction Plan requirements. The company continues to reduce its environmental impact through energy efficiency improvements, renewable electricity sourcing, fleet electrification, sustainable product design and responsible operational practices.
Since its 2020 baseline year, Legrand has reduced total reported emissions from 2,662.33 tCO₂e to 2,439 tCO₂e in 2025, representing an 8.4% reduction. The business remains focused on delivering further reductions through improved manufacturing efficiency, expansion of renewable energy opportunities, enhanced carbon reporting and the continued transition to low-emission vehicles.
As part of the wider Legrand Group sustainability strategy, the organisation has adopted science-based emissions reduction targets and is working towards significant reductions in Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions by 2030, with a long-term objective of achieving Net Zero by 2050.
