Altera Care Software is used to download and analyze all Telecare and Telehealth data stored in SayPhone 21 and Advent xt memory.

The SayPhone 21 uses a high speed modem connection over a standard PSTN line whereas the Advent xt system requires an ADSL Broadband connection.

All connections are password protected to ensure data integrity.

SayPhone 21 Requirements

SayPhone 21 models ZSA100, ZSA110 & ZSA120 are all compatible with Altera Care software – no additional equipment is required for remote downloads over a PSTN line.

Advent xt Requirements

The Advent xt system installed on each grouped scheme requires an optional Ethernet Interface Kit. This comprises of a plug-in module with a 1GB SD Memory Card and an Ethernet Port. All system events and Telecare data is stored with the time & date on the local memory card.

Altera Care software can be run on a local PC with direct connection via an RJ45 Crossover Lead. If data is to be downloaded remotely then the site requires an ADSL Broadband connection with a fixed IP address.
