Local Carer Solutions

Local carer solutions are necessary for assisted living scenarios that do not require a fully monitored alarm service. A monitored alarm service may not be required by those who have the benefit of a local, on-site network of care. However even in these scenarios, service users should be assured that they can call for help if they should need it.

For these occassions, Tynetec have designed a local care receiver unit that can be connected to a variety of telecare sensors. When a telecare device is activated within the assigned perimeter, a notification is sent through to a local responder such as an on-site carer, family member or friend.

Altec Response Portable Alarm Unit


The Altec Response portable alarm unit provides a cost effective solution for the local care environment. Used with the Altec range of Telecare Sensors, the portable receiver unit will alert a local carer to a triggered Telecare device without the need for a telephone line or control centre intervention.
