Press Release - 29 July 2008
Another outstanding year..... Tynetec the Northumberland based Electronic Design and Manufacturing company specializing in community security systems for the elderly and disabled, announced another spectacular year of growth. The pattern established in the previous financial year when turnover grew by more than 25% has been matched in the year to June 2008.
Commenting on the success Chairman and Managing Director Tony Platten attributed the growth to the stability and market knowledge of his management team and the unrivaled performance of the state of the art technology embedded in its advanced range of Social Alarm and Telecare products.
The performance of Tynetec’s Advent xt grouped alarm system has proved outstanding with very positive end-user feed back on the product reliability, clarity of speech, simplicity of use and the advanced fully integrated Telecare and Internet options.
Tynetec has a 30 year record of designing equipment and has consistently delivered the best possible long term cost of ownership. A distribution model, unique to the UK market, used by Tynetec ensures that equipment end-users have the flexibility to obtain competitive quotations for initial installation and more importantly after warranty maintenance.
Tynetec fully supports the Telecare Services Association (TSA) on the introduction of the new BS 8521 open communication protocol for Social Alarms and is a member of the sub committee overseeing the implications the introduction of British Telecom’s 21CN program will have on the Social Alarm market.
Tynetec is confident of another successful year where plans include the expansion of the Company’s commercial team and new product introductions to take best advantage of the expanding digital networks.
